SCHOOL YEAR INFORMATION
Thank you for your interest in our Pre-K Academy Program!
This program is designed to prepare children for kindergarten.
Classes are held Monday through Thursday for 3 hours a day
Occasionally, in-person classes may be canceled and Zoom classes may be offered instead.
Classes are offered at the following sites: Cottonwood, Hollyvale, Joshua Circle, Juniper, Mesa Grande, and Oak Hills.
Pre-K Academy Selection Criteria:
* Children must be born between May 25, 2021 and February 25, 2022
*Must live WITHIN HUSD boundaries
*Children must be COMPLETELY potty-trained (No diapers or pull-ups)
*Must provide ALL required documents
Required Documents:
As part of the application packet, you will need to provide us with the originals of the following forms:
*Official Birth Certificate
*Current Health Physical -Must be stamped and signed and dated by physician
*Up-to-date Immunization Record
*Proof of Address (utility bill in parent's name)
*Parent's Picture ID (we don't keep a copy with the child's record)
Please note, the application is considered incomplete without these documents.

Applications/Dates to Remember
Applications will be available for pick up beginning February 24, 2025
Monday- Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Family Resource Center, 16527 Lemon Street, Hesperia, CA 92345
We will continue accepting applications throughout the school year until all classes are filled
June 16, 2025 - July 11, 2025, the Office will be closed for summer break

Once we receive your completed application with all the required documents, it will be processed. You will then receive a notification by phone of your child's acceptance to the Pre-K Program.
*Eligibility is determined by family size and gross monthly income, English Language Learners, or Foster Youth. However, we encourage everyone to apply in the event we have available slots. Once our classes are full, your child will be placed on our waiting list.*
